The 3rd Annual Downtown Loft Tour is Saturday, March 27 from 10-5pm. Anyone that has lived in Richmond for some time knows that Real Estate is like a national past time here. It starts every year around April with the “spring market.” We spend Sundays at open houses and Home & Garden Tours are like our all-star games (ok, I’m a baseball fan too). So . . . consider this opening day for the real estate season. A sort of exhibition game of what is to come. Ok, I’ll stop.
The Downtown Loft Tour gives you a snapshot of what living downtown in some of the most chic locations would be like. It is a ticket into some of the most exclusive and unique private residences in the city. The tour features a mix of price points and styles ranging from Soho-styled lofts to two-story penthouses with sweeping views of the river and the Richmond skyline. The tour is unique because you’ll get to meet the
owners and residents, see their space and hear their stories about living downtown. And really, who doesn’t like touring other people’s homes? Be honest now! The tour not only showcases 14 different lofts, but gives you a great taste for urban living across many different areas of Richmond including Jackson Ward, City Center, Shockoe Bottom, Manchester, Rocketts Landing, and along the Riverfront/Canal Walk. You can see the exact locations included on the tour here. A shuttle bus is provided or, if you prefer, you can do the tour on a Segway. Tickets are $20 in advance and can be purchased here.
